Xbox Cloud Gaming Now Available in India

Microsoft announced Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available in India, enabling players to stream and play hundreds of titles on the devices they already own, whether it's on an Xbox console, PC, handheld, mobile phone, select LG and Samsung Smart TVs, or compatible Amazon Fire TV Sticks or Fire TV Cube.

 

This launch marks India as Xbox’s 29th cloud gaming market—a major step in our mission to bring the joy and community of gaming to everyone on the planet.  

 

Gaming Without Limits  

Xbox Cloud Gaming is built to deliver smooth gameplay. Players can now enjoy blockbuster titles like Call of Duty®: Black Ops 7 and Hollow Knight: Silksong, along with indie gems like Detective Dotson and The Palace on the Hill, local favourites like Raji: An Ancient Epic, and more, directly from the cloud with just a compatible Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller, a high-speed internet connection and an Xbox Game Pass subscription.   

 

Xbox Game Pass: Hundreds of Games, One Monthly Price  

With Xbox Game Pass, subscribers can enjoy access to hundreds of games for one monthly price. This includes the ability to play across devices like Xbox console, PC, and even more supported devices with unlimited cloud gaming. Plus, Xbox recently updated Game Pass with expanded libraries, in-game benefits across popular games like Call of Duty, Overwatch 2, and Riot Game titles. Localised pricing with flexible subscriptions provides options for subscribers to decide which plan is right for them – Essential, Premium, or Ultimate.   

 

Play Together Across Devices

With Xbox Cloud Gaming, players have other benefits too, such as the ability to play games they own from the Stream your own game collection across supported devices, and connect to play with others from a shared library of games, whether they’re on the other side of the world or sitting right next to you. Dedicated support channels and in-app guidance make it easy for new players to jump in.  

 

How to Get Started  

On your PC, phone, tablet, handheld, and most devices with access to a web browser:   

·                  Use a supported browser like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari.   

·                  Navigate to https://xbox.com/play.   

·                  Sign into your Xbox Game Pass account.    

·                  Connect a supported controller. Controllers like the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, PlayStation DualSense, or DualShock 4 controller are all compatible. On PC, some games support mouse and keyboard input. On mobile, some games support touch controls.  

·                  Start playing!   

On supported Smart TVs:   

·                  Download and launch the Xbox app (on supported Samsung TV, LG TV, or Amazon Fire TV devices)   

·                  Sign into your Xbox Game Pass account.    

·                  Connect a compatible Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller  

·                  Start playing!
